In the present work investigation was carried out the synthesis and characterization of ceramic pigment CuCr2O4 obtained by synthesis methods of normal micelles and citrate gel. The powders were characterized by techniques like differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, VIS spectrophotometry and colorimetry CIEL*a*b*. Ceramic pigments were obtained at calcination temperature of 700 °C and residence times of 6 h, which are lower than those employed by the solid state method, used in the industry of ceramic pigments.Downloads
